Hunny Terms and Conditions

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Hunny. By creating a caregiver account, signing in, pairing a child device, or using Hunny, you agree to these Terms.

Caregiver Authority

If you use Hunny for a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver and that you have authority to manage the child-facing experience.

Caregiver-Managed Child Mode

Hunny is a caregiver-managed app with a child-facing AI companion experience. Children do not create standalone accounts. A child device enters child mode through a caregiver-issued pairing code.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregivers are responsible for deciding whether Hunny is appropriate for the child, creating and managing child profiles, supervising child use, keeping login credentials and pairing codes secure, reviewing caregiver-facing summaries with judgment, and using deletion tools when needed.

AI Features and Content

Hunny may use AI, speech processing, transcripts, drawings, photos, and activity data to support app features. AI responses and summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for a specific situation. Caregivers can report a stored AI response from the session timeline for review.

Not a Replacement for Care or Emergency Help

Hunny is not a human caregiver, therapist, doctor, emergency service, crisis service, safety-monitoring tool, or substitute for adult supervision. If a child may be in danger or needs urgent help, contact emergency services or an appropriate professional immediately.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Hunny to break the law, access another household, misuse pairing codes, harm or exploit a child, upload abusive or inappropriate content, reverse engineer the service, interfere with security, or misrepresent your authority over a child profile.

Subscriptions

Hunny Plus and Hunny Family are caregiver-side subscriptions. Purchases, billing, cancellations, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Children should not manage purchases. AI companion chat requires an active trial or active Hunny Plus or Hunny Family subscription and has no post-trial free allowance.

Changes, Availability, and Liability

Hunny may update, suspend, or discontinue features. Hunny is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hunny is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
