Hunny Privacy Policy

Overview

Hunny is a caregiver-managed mobile app with a child-facing companion experience. Adults create caregiver accounts, manage child profiles, pair child devices, and control settings. Children do not create standalone accounts.

Information Hunny May Collect

Hunny may collect caregiver account information, such as email address, display name, authentication provider, and account identifiers. Hunny may also collect household records, child profile details such as nickname, birthday or age band, profile settings, device pairing data, child session activity, conversation transcripts, drawings, Snap Game photos when used, caregiver notes, tiny moments, subscription status, and caregiver reports about specific AI responses.

Voice Features

If voice features are used, Hunny may process microphone audio to support chat and transcription. Hunny does not keep raw child audio as long-term media history. Conversation transcripts may be stored so Hunny can support the child experience and create caregiver-facing summaries.

Advertising, Tracking, Location, and Contacts

Hunny does not sell personal information. Hunny does not use child data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Hunny does not offer purchases inside child mode. Hunny does not collect precise location or contacts in the current version.

How Hunny Uses Information

Hunny uses information to provide caregiver login, child-device pairing, child profile personalization, AI companion features, family activities, caregiver summaries, subscription access, AI response review, security, support, and account deletion.

Service Providers

Hunny may use service providers such as hosting/database providers, authentication providers, AI or speech-processing providers, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, and operational infrastructure providers. These providers may process limited data needed to provide the service.

Retention

Caregiver account, household, child profile, pairing, saved memory, and subscription records are generally kept until account or household deletion. Raw conversation transcripts are normally retained for up to 30 days, with a limited recovery window of up to 90 days when needed for summary processing. Other raw session events may be retained for up to 90 days. Snap Game photos may be kept until the session ends if not saved, or until household deletion if saved to Memories. AI response reports are generally kept until household deletion unless Hunny adopts a shorter review policy.

Caregiver Requests
