Hunny Account Deletion
Caregiver-Owned Accounts
Hunny uses caregiver-owned accounts. Children do not have standalone accounts. Child mode is paired under a caregiver-managed household.
Hunny is operated by Pui Ying Ng.
Delete Data in the App
To delete data in the app:
- Sign in as the caregiver.
- Open Settings.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm the permanent deletion.
A caregiver whose Hunny account is linked to Sign in with Apple will be asked to verify with Apple again. Hunny revokes the linked Apple authorization before completing account deletion.
What Happens to Your Account and Household
Delete my account permanently deletes the signed-in caregiver's authentication account, caregiver profile, and household memberships.
If that caregiver is the only active caregiver in a household they own, Hunny also deletes the household and its child profiles, pairings, sessions, transcripts, Snap Game records and photos, saved memories, tiny moments, parent notes, and other household-owned app data.
If the deleting caregiver owns a shared household and another active caregiver remains, the longest-standing active caregiver becomes the owner and the shared household and child data remain available to them. If the deleting caregiver is not the owner, the household remains with its existing owner. In either case, the deleting caregiver loses access.
Temporary Records
Some limited records may remain temporarily in backups, logs, app-store systems, payment/subscription systems, or service-provider systems for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Hunny account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions through the app-store account used to purchase them.
If You Cannot Access the App
If you cannot access the app, email hunny.app.official@gmail.com from the caregiver email address connected to the account.
